We ourselves have been allowed to experience what it means that Jesus died for our guilt and that through his grace we may be declared free. We want to pass on this great message of forgiven guilt, grace, and salvation by:
… passing this good news on to other people, personally, publicly (for example at the book table), and also within the church.… letting our practical lives tell how God can renew broken lives destroyed by sin.… practicing grace and forgiveness among one another because we ourselves have been forgiven.
As people who have received new life from God, we want to help one another live according to God’s will. We do this out of gratitude for the grace we have experienced, but also because we believe it is the best possible way to live. We do this by…
… taking God’s Word seriously for our lives. It stands at the center of all our church gatherings and is the final authority for our lives.… encouraging one another and helping each other live according to God’s will.… living among one another the love with which God loves us. That means sharing sorrow and joy together and going through both side by side. That is why we keep reminding one another that Jesus Christ is our only comfort in life and in death.… worshiping God together and thanking him for the salvation we have received.
