Our history

From a small group in private homes to a settled church at Nürnberger Straße 62.

Kapitel 01

The beginnings

The beginnings of Christengemeinde Hersbruck go back to 2010. As a small group, we met alternately in Hersbruck and Schwabach. The first services took place in private homes.

As more and more people from the Hersbruck area joined, we decided to meet only in Hersbruck. Even there, private rooms soon became too small.

Kapitel 02

A permanent location

After a longer search, we found larger rooms at Nürnberger Straße 62. Following renovation work, we were able to celebrate the first service there in February 2014.

Since then, we have gathered here every Sunday for worship. Over time, further regular ministries for different life situations were added.

Kapitel 03

In the middle of Hersbruck

We are especially thankful that since early 2016 we have been able to be regularly present with a book table in Hersbruck’s old town.
